A Bit Of Houston

Me and my husband took a quick few day trip to Houston Texas due to some family events so we took the opportunity to get out enjoy some amazing weather and see the nature we don’t have back at home!
Whenever we go to Houston we always stay at the Hotel ZaZa which is such a unique experience and it’s right in the museum district which had severeal lovely parks to explore. We were so happy to just stroll around and enjoy the fallen leaves and cool weather since Florida refuses to give us any cold this year.

I literally jumped up and down when I saw yellow leaves! I had a moment.

The colors on all the trees were still so bright and beautiful due to the lack of winter Still!

I love this picture. Being able to see all the stages of the trees leaves changing and coming back with all their lovely colors.

I couldn’t get enough of the cute yellow leaves. It’s the little things.

As much as I absolutely love having land and animals I truly believe part of me will always be a city girl at heart. I love the contrast of the brick walls and huge buildings with the beautiful bright growth of plants.

I mean how can you not love it!

There is a wonderful Japanese garden in one of the parks we went to and despite it being rainy and muggy out I was so glad we walked around, it was so beautiful!

Everything was so lush and green.

The bright colors all over the park were so refreshing.

More trees! I can’t get enough of them because we have no trees like this in Florida.

Each corner and bit of this park was honestly so gorgeous, it was so well maintained and tended to but it was still natural and wild to a point, I could have stayed there all day taking pictures of each plant and hidden corner.

I have new dreams for bamboo plants at home. This tunnel was so cool!

The one thing I couldn’t seem to find in Houston was shopping! We went downtown and searched and could only find a couple stores. But it’s a lovely city to walk around and explore for sure, as well as the endless picture opportunities.

Couldn’t leave without some strange airport food, who doesn’t want bacon mac and cheese before getting on a plane.

Houston does have excellent food! Lots of choices downtown and elsewhere. Me and my husband went to Local Foods their menu is very very healthy but in a great way, there was a lot of strange options but everything was amazing despite being unsure. Can we take a moment to appreciate how cool the decor was!

Best salads i had ever had in my entire life! Highly recommend going to Local Foods if you’re downtown Houston.
I hope you guys enjoyed these random photos about our random last moment trip!

Till next time!
