My Blue Apron Box Experience

I wanted to do a blog post about my Blue Apron food service box experience because I was so happy with it. 

I've seen so many people talking about and recommending it so I finally decided to try it out for myself!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate their adorable packaging too!! It's so cute!

I chose the 3 meals a week for 2 people which is perfect for me and my husband (we have a large family and often end up at someone's house for dinner once or twice a week) I didn't want to get too many meals and have the fresh veggies go bad and such so the 3 meals were just right for us.

The Blue Apron website had a great selection of different recipes to choose from and many options for all kinds of different diets, you get to choose what meat you prefer if you prefer it and if you have any specific dietary needs or concerns. 

The recipes change each week so you get a great variety to choose from constantly. 

Me and my husband are super busy but we love to cook so having everything ready and just what you need for the recipe is so nice, no planning or grocery shopping required! It saves us time, money, and the opportunity to try foods we wouldn't usually try which has been exciting! 

When I received the box I was really excited to see the packing for myself I was worried things might be squished or opened due to shipping but upon opening the box I was not disappointed, everything came perfectly packed with ice and bubble wrap so nothing was squished or opened and all of the veggies were so fresh and most of them were organic which made it even better.

You get evey little thing you need for each recipe even the smallest things. Each recipe "knickknacks" as they call them come wrapped nice in little paper bags. 

The recipes were easy and simple to understand and I had no issues cooking everything using the recipe cards, I have even kept a couple I loved them so much. 

We were missing one ingredient for a recipe so I emailed Blue Apron and I got a response a couple hours later with an apology and a credit for my next order, Awesome customer service for sure. A fast response and no fuss customer service goes a long way with me! 

Overall me and my husband loved Blue Apron so much we decided to continue using it for weekly dinner meals, if you know someone that uses Blue Apron as well they can send you free meals and you can send them free meals which is a full weeks worth or for me 3 meals for 2 people for completely free even shipping is free! So me and my mom have hooked each other up. 

Unless you have a deal like Ebates or a first time customer coupon code of sorts (which they have) it seems a little pricy for me 60$ a week for 3 meals but with my first time customer deal and an Ebates link I got our first box for 20$ and the next ones have been free because of my family sending me their free meals so it works out to be way cheaper then shopping at your local grocery store if you are smart about it. 

I have set up meals for the next few weeks with Blue Apron, it's made dinners so much easier and give me so much more time without the extra grocery store stop, the convenience of having dinner delivered right to your door has changed my dinners for sure!
